| Ruijin Hospital (Wuxi Branch), affiliated to Medical College of Shanghai Jiaotong University, is located in Wuxi Hi-tech Development Zone. It is a three-level comprehensive public hospital integrating medicine, teaching and research. The total investment in the first phase of the hospital was about 1.93 billion yuan, 600 beds were approved, with an area of about 100 mu and a total floor area of 155,500 square meters. The building consists of four buildings, the highest ward building with 19 floors above ground and 2 floors below ground, is expected to be operational in 2018.
The hospital attaches importance to discipline and talent gradient construction and actively carries out personnel recruitment and reserve. The head of clinical and management disciplines of Ruijin Hospital is sent to Wuxi Branch to participate in the preparatory work. By the end of July 2018, Xinrui Hospital had enrolled 383 staff.
